I've never really hated any particular bands, but for the longest time, I despised thrash metal. I thought it was pointless noise with shitty songwriting, and while I still often believe that many thrash bands have sub-par songwriting ability, I tend to now enjoy most thrash that I come across.

Anyways, only band I can think of off the top of my head is Nile. Bought Annihilation of the Wicked on a whim and didn't like it at all. Nowadays I'm really starting to get into them.
