Beer Thread?

That's the one. I haven't had it on tap though... only in a bottle/in a glass, never noticed such a difference between a beer in the bottle then its massive improvement out of a glass.

However i tried the Matilda Bay Fat Yak Pale Ale the other night and seriously - amazing beer.

Yeah I agree, if you like that you might like the Alpha Pale Ale (also by Matilda Bay) which is similar but even more full flavoured than the Fat Yak. It's about $20 for a four pack though, so you'd probably need to rob a bank or win the lotto if you wanted to session it.

Yeah, it's true. Kronenbourg (1664), Carlsberg and Heineken are all dodgy beers in the UK (pretty much). Ask for a pint of 'Beater' (wife beater) and you'll get Kronenbourg... It's really cheap in supermarkets. I was having a field day. Fancy beer for cheap and everyone else thought it sucked

Is funny how beers are viewed differently across the world... Americans all think Aussies drink Fosters and nobody I know drinks Fosters! haha
