Aye, they kick ass too. The TORR/666 boxed set looks wicked.
DEBUSTROL is another classic from the area that I'd recommend.

I have that 3CD on the way from some Czech ebay seller...it was $35 + like $7 shipping, but I figured I won't be finding it anywhere else, and it's 3 CDs, so it's not a total killer. And yeah, Debustrol is some excellent thrash stuffs, though I've only heard the demo and the first album.

Agreed, I'm first now starting to get what this album is about. I'm pretty damn impressed so far but I feel there's still a lot more to be found, it's quite a feat not drowning all variation in that relentless speed and also blending of all those samples and interludes into the fabric of the music.
For the moment I can't really think of any similar bands... Naglfar's Vittra?
Not musically identical perhaps, but similar and very very good. Also pretty overlooked on this forum it seems :|

Yeah. I defnitely have to be in the right mood for some Mystic Forest. The piano work goes quite well though. I'm interested to hear this Epheles... does it sound like Mystic Forest - the piano. We'll see.

I enjoy Welcome Back in the Forest quite a bit.. probably about equal to Green Hell imo. I find them to both be pretty similar..... not much of a shift.

Epheles have no relation to Mystic Forest/Eikenskaden or any other Stefan Whatshisname bands.
Just kickass black metal that isnt one dimensional.
I find those Stefan bands pretty pretentious imo.
Ive had the demo for a while now but this release brought them back to me and Ive been loving it. Im sure many on this forum will think the same.
