Liked that Ascension track, speaking of Sinmara and Svartidauoi I've always thought the two had a tinge of the DSO sound, and listening to that Ascention track they sort of do too.

But anyways i second the Sinmara album. Killer stuff.

I've put on Thy Darkened Shade's newest (Liber Lvcifer I: Khem Sedjet) and am pleasantly surprised.

Listened to Doombringer's debut album earlier although was a bit distracted. Seemed like a solid 7/10.

I don't consider Cradle of Filth black metal, i don't listen to them, but what do you guys think of them? Do you have any good albums at all? I was surprised how good the reviews were on metal-archives, i watched the music video nymphetamine years ago and was completely turned off and havn't listened to them since.
 
I haven't listened to any tracks off the new album so I have no idea where it's going, but I do hope they break new ground here.

As far as Cradle of Filth, I can't listen to them for very long.
