Black Metal.

Slightly OT - but lo and behold, Varg's wife runs a blog called Atala: "Atala (which means « Atlantis », the white Island) is a website dedicated to articles related to prehistory, and more specifically to Marie Cachet’s unique theory about the Neanderthal and Homo Sapiens hybridization."

Well, it would appear he's with someone who's as mad as he is! She even has a penchant for military style caps like ol' Varg.

Anyone Remember Enochian Crescent? They are called just The Crescent now and just got an album out.

I like some of the very best black metal bands, otherwise its kind of corny to try and sound like a demon and sing about a fiery devil that doesn't exist.

Cool story bro. We all believe in the devil and smoke drugs and burn fucking churches every day in our lord master Satan's name. We are death. Fukk you.

Has anyone heard the new Far Away From the Sun reissue that was remastered by Dan Swano? Is it worth getting? I'm skeptical because his remastered version of Blod-Draum was total shit.

Shit. It looks like I have a lot of catching up to do.

Space Black Metal: Do you guys have any recommendations? There are two bands from the sub-genre I currently enjoy, Darkspace and Alrakis.

Oranssi Pazuzu perhaps? they're quite experimental tho.

Maybe try Obsidian Gate - The Nightspectral Voyage kinda similar to early limbonic art

Lunar Aurora is pretty spacey too
