I like them, but they're still on the lower end of my favorite Norwegian 2nd wave Black Metal bands.

Fair enough, people sometimes just can't click with Raw Black metal. It can be tough on the ears sometimes, but it's hard to be considered a fan of raw black metal without liking Ildjarn or Absurd.

but I do like Darkthrone and Deathspell Omega.

They've actually taken a pretty high spot on mine, but maybe that's because there are still 2nd wave BM bands that I've haven't listened to yet, like Enslaved.

I used to like death metal more, but now I like black metal more by far. But I like melodic death metal more than black metal. It's a bit odd.
