Same here. The rest of the songs don't have the same power as these.

I agree its the second best... but after HLTO not B/A IMO. But these days Filosofem is probably my favorite.

Hvis Lyset Tar Oss is patently the better of the two between that and Filosofem, but the self-titled is very special to me. And Varg (nor anyone else) has ever written a song quite like My Journey To The Stars since, among others. It's really an amazing album. The fact that I rate it above Filosofem, an amazing piece in its own right, says a lot about Burzum.

Anyway, Burzum is probably among my top 10 Metal bands of all time.

I checked out their self titled album (I think neurotica's a fan), and I wasn't overly impressed...or I may be thinking of someone else

I found the Burzum/Aske album and Det Some Engang Var today at the music store for less than $10 each. I'm in ecstasy.
