COB start writing new album

ok so i could not be more relieved to hear some awesome shit from them again. the amazing interludes are back!!!!! finally another album that i like every song on. very very happy!

While it's an amazing album, it's somehow not distinctly COB. Lots of great shit in here and gonna take a while to digest. No doubt fun to play.

And I'll probably be the only one to say this, but I'm not the biggest fan of the tone. It's too sharp for my ears, I thought RRF had the perfect tone.

also, cant wait until tabs start coming out for these songs so i can start learning them. they sound like a blast to play

WELL SLAP MY ASS AND CALL ME BETSY

I've been listening to the album all day nonstop and after its fully digested its simply amazing! It's creeping up on being my 2nd favorite COB album behind FTR. The days are numbered (is it THE days or YOUR days???) is the sleeper hit of the record. The chorus throws it off a little bit but the rest of the song is a hatebreeder style banger. Roope's solo on Waste of Skin is better than Alexi's. And Bodom Blue Moon makes you want to headbang and sing along at the same time.

^ *sigh* same. I feel bad but goddamnit I just had to get the white cd+tshirt bundle and like previous releases that I've picked up via the official shop. they are always late. always. I just can't stand this torture of reading all your juicy comments here!

Regarding Jeff's solo - it seems he played one for the Loudness cover using Alexi's guitar (or the sound quality was so bad I misread it, anyway there was a whammy bar and the tone was virtually the same). The solo's good, although I'd like moar.

PM please? (hate to ask again, but no one's replied yet and I'm desperate to hear this album)

Edit: nvm, found it

Listened to the album a bit more now, DAMN it's incredibly good...Now I like Dead Mans Hand On You a lot too. Damaged Beyond Repair is still easily the unchallenged number one track for me. I think Transference is the weakest song on the album atm, but it's not bad at all just not as good as everything else in my opinion. It's a 9/10 album in total for me I think. RRF was like...5/10 for me, and that's being generous.

Couldn't agree more.
