Emo is...

That chart was awesome, because it basically says that the peak of the forum was during my arrival and most frequent postings, waning after I stopped visitng the site with any regularity.

Basically, I win.

i think any old school member o fthis forum knowst hat all its good for these days is trolling and laughing at how bad it is although TO BE FAIR the influx of horrible horrible posters seems to be dying down and its getting a little better

it pretty much got good when nix started moderating, got worse when he stopped giving a shit and god fucking awful when deron started moderating

I don't base it on overall quality, just posts by worthwhile members at this point. It's too depressing overall.

People that also go to school do not always get what they want or a succesfull carrer. Just incase something goes wrong the basic work world will be waiting so you should have some expirience. This is why people work anyways along with wanting to buy things when at a young age. Everyone will work a shit job.

My uncle went to college for 6,8 years and he's in his 30's living with his mother. His carrer that he went to college for is not much better than a basic job in pay.

You can't just think painting or whatever is going to support what you want in life. I'm not saying you are wrong or whatever.

I don't expect my guitar playing to get me money so I can buy cds. I can't just sit at home not working because I think my future bands cd will sell a lot 4 years down the road. In that time I could be saving shitloads of money for a down payment on a car,etc..

I'm not saying my shit does not stink or that you suck.

Alright, I agree with a few things you said, mainly that yes we all joke around a lot here, and yes a lot of it is individual hate, and not sexist hate.

I have had odd jobs before, i've told you that. I just haven't had a REAL full-time job before. You know why?---- I'm a fucking student!

Just because you finally got a job last month and now know how to push a lawn mower doesn't mean you know the ways of the world and can treat me like shit because I'm still in school Cody.

The fact you expect all 20-year-old, full-time students to also have full-time jobs, supporting themselves, while also paying for school and the million other things in life, is absolutely ridiculous. (Or is it just me you expect to do that?) Oh and you don't have to experience something first hand to know it's true. We all know women get paid less than men. I do deal with it. Do I have to like it? FUCK. NO.

One more thing-- I know how to fucking drive.

You are fucking kidding right? I work a full-time job, averaging 56 hours a week AND go to school 4 days a week (class from 8-1, work from 2:30-11). I also have my own apartment, a newer vehicle (03 chevy s-10 zr2), a huge ass drumset, a few guitars, studio equipment etc etc etc. That I have all paid for myself/am paying for. Not to mention I'm going to school year round so I can graduate earlier.

So what the fuck is your problem? Is going to ART school and working to fucking hard? Give me a break.

No excuse for you being ignorant, and a whinny bitch.

Thats how a half of my country's population do. As the shitty 3-roomed apartment (not a house) costs around $130-150 000 here... and middle wage is $400-$1000...

Well...I'm 17, and I have worked since I was 14 at a local baseball park during the summer and made an average of ~1000 dollars per summer since then.

Also, I'm pretty sure in college you can have a part-time job. And that gives you enough money to survive.

It depends on what classes you take. There is no way in hell I would be able to carry a part time job while I'm in school.

similarly, i went to full time uni and supported myself with part time work. there is no excuse for lazy cunts doing tertiary education to not have a job. the majority of the unemployed are a plague upon society because those of us who are employed (and thus, not entirely useless to this planet) pay between 30% and 50% of our fucking wages to support them.

It's hard to do anything more than a 10 hour a week job if you're doing any kind of rigorous academic study.

@Susperia: Females working as bartenders, waiters, caddies, make more money than men. I work as a caddy, and I make $5-6K per summer. A girl could make $6K a summer easy doing that job.
