emo is a genre not a fucking type of person, how gay does calling metalheads "metals" sound

Well hardcore is a genre too, people call them hardcore sometimes, even though they're not.

i dont know why im bothering but hey guys check out this site http://www.mesaverde.co.uk/mp3/ and listen to some of the songs from each era cause if youre gonna hate emo you might as well hate what it actually is and not this mainstream shit mislabelled as emo which exists in a relationship with emo essentially similar to metal:nu-metal

fwiw i love REAL EMO/SCREAMO :]

I'm not interested in exploring new genres at this time. I'm more than content with Metal, 60s-70s Hard Rock/Progessive Rock, and Classical.

Since this thread is all kinds of topics mixed i'm going to post this here. Today I was mistaken for a female twice and not really sure what to think of it. If I have long hair I probably should not think to much on this because it will probably happen more. I'm 5'6" and skinny, wear tight dark blue geans(not gay tight) but I do not like loose clothing so maybe from the back or bad angle along with long hair someone could confuse me. I'm 19 and do not think I look feminine.

oh well

I have a friend who has been called a lady 3,4 times on accident. Things like this are kinda akward when they happen but I refuse to get a haircut. Is this commen with any of you will long hair ?. I just think it's nothing then think more into it.

grow facial hair, even a little bit, and it's more than likely that it wont happen from now on. my hairs only to my shoulders, but i decided im going to grow it for four years straight. but i have facial hair so it shouldnt be a problem. i couldn't really care anyways.

edit: that's not me in my display pic btw. it would rule if it was though.

It's true, I'm an absolute mama's girl. I've been spoiled my whole life.. And so I've grown in that respect (when it comes to $ and being independent) a bit slower than the average person.

I don't think it makes me a bad person though, and I don't think it means I'm handing you BS. I honestly wouldn't be able to handle a job more than a night or so a week. And I DON'T have a car on campus. I'm only 20. What is so wrong about having your parents still helping you when you're 20?? My mother certainly doesn't mind, she wants me to live with her forever. I love my mum =).

p.s. Where I come from, when you're 20 you're still considered a baby. No BS.

Fucking hell.
