I just relistened to Born Again for the first time in ages and holy shit it's a lot more meh than I remembered. The production is fucking wacky and Gillan's voice is a farcry away from what he was doing in Deep Purple years before.

Listening to Seventh Star right now. Don't know why people find this bad. Definitely better than TE or NSD or even Vol. 4.

Glenn Hughes' voice never ages it seems.

I'm just here to watch the groupthink. At least HBB is fighting it.

Black Sabbath's first 6 are legit their best albums, there's no groupthink about it imo. They laid the foundation for almost all of metal. The rest are up for debate, though heaven and hell is a solid 7.

Post your list instead of having sheeplike bystander/witness mentality, if we're going to be douchebag psychoanalysts.

Your existence should be outlawed.

Even Seventh Star isn't horrible, it's just really bland. It's a 2/5, maybe 2.5/5 album. Here are my objectively correct track ratings:

In for the Kill - 3/5 (surprisingly heavy speed metal; one riff reminds me of Exodus' Impaler)
Heart Like a Wheel - 3/5 (blues rock, good extended solo)
Turn to Stone - 3/5 (very NWOBHM-sounding speed metal)
In Memory - 2.5/5
No Stranger to Love - 2.5/5 (standard ballad, a little glam and a little blues rock)
Sphinx (The Guardian)/Seventh Star - 2/5 (sounds *too* Sabbath-y, Dio-era imitation)
Danger Zone - 2/5 (very generic trad metal)
Angry Heart - 1.5/5 (mid-tempo generic Sabbath)
