Directions: Rank Kreator's 14 albums and the Flag of Hate EP, and number each album 1-15. Ties are OK. Your first place album earns 15 points, your second place album earns 14 points, etc.

Rules:
  • You may rank as few as 8 albums. Lists with less than 8 albums will not be counted.
  • If you list less than 15 albums, the first placed album will still get 15 points, the last placed album will still get 1 point, and the albums in between will have points distributed proportionately. The average points earned for albums that are not listed will not be impacted positively or negatively, so if you don't rank an album, you neither help it or hurt it.
  • If you don't number your list then it will be assumed that it is in ranked order
At the end, the albums will be ranked based on their average number of points per vote.

You have until Friday, September 4th at 5:00 PM PST to finalize your list, re-familiarize yourself albums you haven’t heard in awhile, familiarize yourself with albums you haven’t heard at all, lobby for any albums you think are underrated, and lobby against any albums you think are overrated.

Did anyone happen to enjoy the cheesiness of Gods of Violence? It's a little bit goofy album to listen to. I cant take tracks like satan is real seriously.

I found Gods of Violence a step down from Phantom Antichrist and agree with you about songs like Satan is Real. I enjoy the second half of the album from Hail to the Hordes through the end.

As bad as Satan Is Real might be it's not as bad, or as hard to listen too as the tail end of the Sepultura discography that is happening next.

From memory, it should go around this:

1 Coma of Souls
2 Pleasure to Kill
3 Extreme Aggression
4 Cause for Conflict
5 Endless Pain
6 Terrible Certainty
7 Violent Revolution
8 Renewal

From memory, I could see a bit of rotation for all of these aside from PtK but it wouldn't matter much.

1. Pleasure to Kill (the obvious peak, their best-written and most-savage album, 8/10)
2. Extreme Aggression (have to admit I was wrong about this album, it is Americanized to some extent but it's much riffier than I remember it being, aside from a couple of the overrated songs, 6/10)
3. Renewal (solid post-thrash effort with a different approach than many of the others around the time, the songs are memorable and distinct, unfortunate that Mille's voice was so shot though, 6/10)
4. Endless Pain (basic and overrated, it's ok though, 5/10)
5. Cause of Conflict (aight, 5/10)
6. Terrible Certainty (a couple great songs but the bad stuff is horrible, weak production, 4/10)
7. Coma of Souls (wimpy as fuck, 3/10)
8. Violent Revolution (Coma but newer and with a bit of melodeath garbage mixed in, 3/10)
9. Outcast (would be passable if it didn't feel so long, 2/10)
10. Endorama (disgusting, 1/10)
