GMD Poll: Megadeth's Discography Ranked

and then there's nobody batting an eye about Bloopy putting TWNAH at #4

:loco: It's very much a Mustaine vocal album with him ranting and speaking a lot. A bit of a continuation of Sweating Bullets/the Countdown era. I love that stuff. Then there's 1000 Times Goodbye, which isn't great but it is hilarious.

As gay as the last few Morbid Angel albums? Countdown and Youthanasia are great. Cryptic Writings is solid as fuck. Endgame is also pretty good and they have a few good songs on just about every one of their other post-RiP albums.

Not sure what Morbid Angel has to do with Megadeth. Obviously that new one is god awful. I haven't heard Heretic in full but the songs I have heard honestly weren't that bad.

Heretic is definitely a bad album, but not really in an offensive way. It's just super boring. At least Illud Divinum Insanus has comedic value.

I mean who could forget lines such as:

"We're living hardcore and radical"

"Our radi-killer cult is thriving"

"They scream we're too extreme"

Too fucking extreme.

nah, burnt out tired riffs, nothing new. Songs that were third rate even by Covenant' standard.
The sound of a once great innovative band digging.
And they hit fool's gold.
To be fair there's moments on both Formulas and Gateways that hit upon the better side of MA when they get it right but, mostly those albums are forgettable
