fyi I know all about the admonitions not to have someone's name tattooed on your body but my wife's name is Erica so I figured if we break up I could get an " "Am" added onto the front of it.

Moshing, aka slamming, aka pitting, comes from the punk & hardcore world, and most of the REAL punk/hardcore kids would absolutely kill the kids in metal show pits.

By the way, no one ever complimented me in these threads for driving after the festival was over.

Depends on the show and the crowd. Anthrax, slayer and death metal bands usually have good pits. And yes, you can get hurt.

Sometimes you just get so filled with primal emotion as a kick ass, high energy show, that you just can't help but seek a primal release for that energy. It's relatively rare for me nowadays, but Thyrfing definitely got those juices flowing.
