Jon Nödtveidt kills himself.

So, come on, put respect and appreciation on HE and HIS works!

I appreciate him and his work like I appreciate the collected works of Britney
Spears, only good for jerking off and afterwards you feel dirty all over.

His death is a tragedy for many of us who loved he!

To quote Denis Leary:
That's an unemployment solution right there. It's called natural selection.
It's the bottom of the food chain. Okay?

And paraphrasing Bill Hicks:
One less gas station attendant in the world.

Maybe to confront life with principles and a ideology is more strong than just die for it because, who "knows" what's after death... I don't think you gonna fight your ideas with Saint-Peter....
In my very personal opinion, I think suicide is weak.

Suicide = Easy way out

Satanism = Pathetic. Satanists think they're so great worshipping Satan and all that dark embrace bullshit. Wow guys, same crap as any other religion you know? You're still dropping to your knees in front of an idol that never existed. Slaves.

i think you've answered your own question there

No I haven't dillhole.
I am not willing to die for anything.
That doesn't make me weak, infact it makes me strong to resist such
moronic urge.

If you are willing to die for something, you are weak or a fool.

If I can choose my way of going out of this world, I would choose not to.

Living requires much more strength than dying.

There are two things I want to say in this thread:

1. To me, the life of some random Algerian homosexual I've never known is of vastly greater importance than everything Jon Nödtveidt achieved in his life, his music included.

2. Every religion is harmful to those who practice it. Satanism is not an exception.

LOL
Think you've got your concepts a little mixed up there.

Actually, this whole thread and every poster in it gets a LOL from me. Except UndoControl. He just wasn't funny, the bastard.

Satanism=/= The belief of a person who worships Satan.

I stand corrected.

You're right. I took some time to read a little more on satanism. I have to say that I did speak almost without knowing and thus I somewhat considered Satanism and devil worship as the same. Obviously they're not. I take back what I said about this religion (or philosophy, almost). However I still think that commiting suicide is the stupidest thing one can do and saying that mr. Nödtveidt was superior to every other being on earth is simply being foolish and stupid.

LOL all you want. I have to admit you caught me with my pants down, FourthHorseman.

I guess being a fucking asshole requires much more then :heh: Cuz living is usually granted by default - I can't say there's something so hard about it.

Emo.

There's no need to apologize: Just like people here are allowed to criticise your comments, you are also allowed to express your opinions.

About the "satanism" in the music: aren't the first album of DT with a kinda of satanic/darkness inspiration and phylosophy?

Umm, nope. Of course, a term like "darkness inspired" (which is what you probably meant) is vague enough to fit 99% of all the lyrics ever written, but "satanic" is really quite far from the truth. The lyrics of Skydancer are perhaps best described as "shamanic poetry", as there are many references to spirit-like beings and magical landscapes. But there's no praise to evil or selfishness - quite the contrary, a significant portion of those lyrics can be interpreted as sheer admiration of life and its various aspects. Had Nödtveidt followed a Skydancer-like philosophy, he would still be enjoying the beauty of the world we live in.

This is even more priceless than anything ever mentioned in MasterCard ads. And more absolute than Absolute itself.

About TRUE SATANISM: is about strenght, freedom, opposite, being the society enemy and yes take his own life is necessary or desired.
Oh, what would satanism do if it became mainstream to be individual and satanistic? You would be rather confused, no doubt.

About the suicide: suicide isn't a good think naturally, but when it happen for some motivation, and when a man have nothing to do more in this world, because he have reached the final destination of his destiny, then is more worthy to take himlesf his life than take is life by another man, an incidend, a disease or old age.
This I think is the reason why I certainly can't agree with Salamurhaaja (other than his being a total jackass). Nothing wrong with old age as such in my opinion, but when a suicide is done on this basis and not due to a mental illness, I don't think it's entirely wrong, nor is it weak.

There is nothing jackass about being Salamirhaajajajajaja. He's being rather jackrabbit than anything.
