Well, I think that suicide is a cowardly method to escape the problems ye have in life. But the question here is this:

Was Jon such a cowardly bastard that he killed himself in order to escape the problems he had?

Was he truly someone that believed in Satan, thus killing himself because of what he believed in?

I think the trick here is that you constantly pick the side that can never become popular, because you're postulating that anti-popular is what you are. The core beliefs of many a religion (and anti-religion) are actually very similar: take Wiccans, Scientologists, Satanists, and whatnot, give them a good shake and you'll end up with your standard melting pot of undeniable pleasant nothings to entertain the mind. In case you haven't noticed, there are many discussion topics going on in this forum.
