Obviously a lot, seeing as you didn't get the joke.

actually, when you look at it that way from the criteria mentioned, it does fit that category. just listen to Internal Primates (i think thats the name) by Mudvayne and tell me that's not rap influenced. ok I see now that nu metal has a meaning, but i do think it is too general/broad and should be narrowed down to a few things such as the rap-infused rock beats/vocal styles and the gimmicks. Okay, I'll let you numetalists off the hook for now haha thx for clearin all that up 4 me.Mudvayne barely fit this description AT ALL.
That would be a very broad definition of rap-influenced. Whether or not you think that though, the song is well written and complex musically, its not wafer thin pop/nu metal.NocturnalSun said:actually, when you look at it that way from the criteria mentioned, it does fit that category. just listen to Internal Primates (i think thats the name) by Mudvayne and tell me that's not rap influenced. ok I see now that nu metal has a meaning, but i do think it is too general/broad and should be narrowed down to a few things such as the rap-infused rock beats/vocal styles and the gimmicks.
