I MIX WITH PHYSICS!!!!
I see what you're saying with the DNB sound, but at the same time I thought PoE needed to sound exactly as it did and as we speak I'm being sucked into the remaster I bought right after release...

I'm curious too about how they were mixed. I read a post from Andy saying it was L+R of Jeff and Steve up the middle. 3 tracks and 2 amps. My hope would be L+R mesa and krank up the center.
Has anyone noticed at the beginning of This Godless Endeavour (the actual song, track11) You can hear the click track on the vocals.. All I can assume was either headphone bleed or perhaps spill from the control room. Anyone else noticed it? Also whilst I'm being anal!!, On Dead Heart, Track 9- Insignificant you can hear the Autotune (possibly Antares??) Coming in around 03:50 on the 'to look in the sky' vocal line........
Sad really, that I notice these things![]()
Both fantastic albums,,,
what time can you hear the click?
maybe they left it in to give the anoraks something to talk about![]()
no, it's click, but so what, performance was good and we liked the feel of vocal, don't think it affected record sales but I may be wrong....
hardly....I'm just a sarcastic bastard....I'd actually would be critical if they'd thought it sounded cool but replaced/altered the take with the click!
just read that thread (slightly before my time.....ouch!).
