Hey, and other thing... Help XD I'm reading contradictions everywhere >.<

Mikael Stanne played the guitar in dark tranquillity?? Or is it false?

And other thing, I downloaded a mp3 album "Live in gothemburg", But it doesn't look like it's being singed by Mikael, Because, Lethe, y impressionant in Youtube, Absolutely amazing, but in the cd I have is not that good... It's singed with voice that don't seem to be Mikael... So?? Do anyone know why (if he really is mikael) is singed that hard? It's something like Unmelodic Death Metal XD

Mikael Stanne used to play the guitar for DT when Anders Friden sang (the only album with Friden singing is Skydancer).
Stanne has been the singer since then so it should be him on your bootleg. I have never heard though so I can't tell you for sure.

i occasionaly post in the GMD/Chat/Amon Amarth forum but i knew i need to come here once i heard DT. Today i hear them for the first time. I know i may be behind the times cause i only just heard them but i wanna learn more, any particular kick ass songs of theirs i should listen to?

"Lethe", Of course =D My favorites are "Punish my heaven", "Silence, and the Firmament Withdrew", "The dividing Line", "The Gallery", "The One Brooding Warning", "Lethe", "Freecard", "Auctioned", "The sun fired blanks", "Focus Shift", "Lost to apathy", "Mind Matters", "The new build", and some more XD Too much... Wow, DT is really amazing *.*
 
Welcome to the forum. The picture doesn't look shitty imo.
I am sure it would be easier for us to recommend particular albums/songs to you if we knew which songs you have already listened to and what you liked about them since everyone here loves different albums the most. In case you have enough money, buy all the albums, you won't regret it. My favourite album is Projector, the majority probably likes The Gallery (which includes half of the songs bleeding.moonlight posted) most.
 
@highbulletmind: you look really like one of the former girlfriends of our esteemed moderator, so you will be extra welcome here until you start saying 'i am really happy' :D

@Matse: I only heard the songs on theyre myspace, so recommend any albums, i'd love to hear all their stuff and i'll check out the two mentioned
 
@highbulletmind: welcome to the forum. :) i suggest you listen to "the gallery" and the latest one "fiction".
 
I'd say start with The Mind's I or Damage Done since they're more straightforward and easier to get into than the other albums. If you like those, then move on to the masterpiece; The Gallery.

And yes, welcome here, the squirrel wheel begins. :) :p
 
I second Siren's recommendation. Fiction isn't too hard to get into either and I am sure you will love The Gallery if you get it as the second album.
 
Hey everyone! I first got into DT when I heard them on a free CD in Metal Hammer magazine, and since then, I've been a pretty big fan... DT are probably the band that got me into Melodic Death, so I owe them quite a bit.

What else to write... Well, I'm a huge fan of Black Metal and Death Metal. I sometimes listen to Thrash Metal or Industrial Metal if a band catches my eye (or ear as the case is)... I play drums, and I will learn to play guitar (soon hopefully) and maybe bass sometime... I'm trying to learn said instruments to start a music project (which I will call Fimbulwinter) which I hope will play a mix of Black Metal and Death Metal... But I doubt much will happen this year (or the next for that matter) as learning guitar will probably take a while.

As for other bands, I am into stuff like Amon Amarth, Finntroll, Burzum, Celtic Frost, Korpiklaani, ETC...

Well thats all I can say for the minute, I think... If anyone has any questions about me, don't hesitate to ask.
