@fireangel: Williami and others will play a gig tomorrow and guess who's not going to be there this time either... I'm going to Oulu tomorrow.

Well, you must know what is more important to you, seeing the gig or following other plans Just tell everyone around, the more people are there the better.

I still wait for my chance in summer. Otherwise I´ll ask them to play only for me at the next birthday

NF: Pretty good, I changed my opinion of someone I thought was a complete bitch to a rather more positive one after getting to know her, and I'm going to a friends birthday party tommorow, at his dads house. There's a pool inside. I'll need to be sober again, I shouldn't drink until my heart is completely healed. I don't really mind though, I've realized I like myself more when sober, I'm thinking of stopping heavy drinking indefinately.

NF: ok-ish, i bought myself some new sunglasses yesterday, gonna get them tomorrow.
other than that nothing spectacular, it's one of the few times i can't wait for uni to start again.

For a couple of days already, I've had a horrible aching in my back, for no apparent reason. It's the worst I've ever had and it has really changed my mood and behaviour to pretty bad: I've been quite edgy and easily irritated because of my constantly hurting back.

What's funny though, I had quite a silly dream last night, probably due to the heavy dose of painkillers I had taken before going to bed (I never take painkillers for any reason, but there just was no way that I could have slept with this horrible pain). I can't quite remember all of that dream, but at some point it included a group of italian dwarves firing hundreds of arrows at me. Yep. We were on some construction-site for a huge skyscraper or something, and an old mafioso-like guy (who was a human) told me how they had been building it for the past one hundred years. Then the guy just left, and the small bearded men noticed me and started firing their arrows at me. I have began to suspect that some old dwarvish curse has been laid upon me...

@Villain: Thanks! At the moment I'm suffering from some very aggravating stomach pains, preventing me from sleeping. I use painkillers so rarely the thought of taking some didn't even occur to me until I read your post. Just downed a few pills, hope something improves.

NF: Same as last night - short term good (which is still oddly unsettling), long term crap. I'm trying desperately to remember last night's dream too, I know it was really good and inspiring... I just can't remember a single thing about it.

ok, starting tomorrow morning, i'll be away from both home and work for a few days, to visit the wonderful people this forum is (still) the official board of. this means i won't be posting much or at all, yet the forum will remain monitored against abuse exactly as usual, bar the inevitable delays.

if i die on the plane or at the airport due to a highly likely terrorist attack, send pineapples to my grave.

@Rusty: There are sober Finns, like our Prime Minister.

NF: The party was plenty of fun, although I'm sure I'll be blackmailed with the video footage shot at the place when I begin my political career. I had a bit of alcohol (12 beers) to have something to do with my hands, but I was never close to being properly drunk. I also got the best looking girl at the party (as popular opinion went). I guess I'm happy. Now I'm going to eat something to get rid of the taste of beer in my mouth, and take a long shower.

NF: Still short-term good, although longer term I'm still thinking about quitting uni - the only trouble with that being I haven't got a clue what I'd do instead.

May I ask what is your study subject and how long you are doing this already? Maybe it is not the uni itself you don´t like, but "only" the subject, or the surrounding and all?
