are they all as annoying/preachy as susperia? :erk:

well if you get them angry/worked up over something they feel passionate about, of course they get "annoying/preachy" on you. If somebody slags weightlifting/bodybuilding, I'm sure you'd get rather defensive. the vegetarians and vegans I know are all docile, laid back, healthy, normal looking people (as normal as most southern californians look)

Like what? I have Indian friends and there are only Indian Buddhists who abstain from meat completely.

As for the 2/3 of the world comment, any evidence, Wikipedia? Or just as I said before a preachy Vegan?

Most of the veggies/vegans I know are just the same, trying to justify their choice of diet with hocus-pocus facts and figures, usually sourced from sprout eating moron with a health shop(usually a charlatan).

You're a fucking glock. I took a course on this and that is A)What our book said and B) What my professor said. It's a fucking fact, look it up yourself. Dickhead.

And Indian food, at least the kind I've had in Indian resturants around here, are not so much meat centered. They are more about spices, curries, potatoes, rice, vegetables, etc. Yes there is meat, but really not that much, and probably not what the average person would have eaten in India throughout history.

I don't have to justify myself, I just want to help. I'm actually thinking about starting to eat eggs again if I get my own chicken and/or find a small farm near me that sells free-range eggs. How's that for being preachy and justifying shit? Christ, I can't say anything! All of you already have your own preconcieved opinions of what a vegan is.

Anger is a symptom of iron deficiency.

eh... not really anymore. The only time I'll get defensive is if they attack me personally. But there is so much bullshit and so much idiocy out there that it doesn't even bother me anymore. There's a reason all (natural) bodybuilders are in phenomenal shape, and over half of americans are fatasses, and if people want to stay ignorant, that's their choice.

No need to get rude about it. Which book was it? So I can research this myself. Was it a college course? Or Nightschool?
