And by the way, soccer is for fags and basketball is for nigras. I'll be watching the MLB this summer and the NFL this fall. All others sports fail.

That looks good, though I doubt he'll be able to eat it all. Is that you?

Dude why don't you just watch darts or archery or some game where all they do is score points? This attitude of 'nothing happens' in relation to football reminds me of people who turn off movies after ten minutes because nothing has exploded.

Aye. I'd rather watch Southampton beating Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 (good ol' Claus Lundekvam scoring in the 89th minute or something) than seeing San Antonio Spurs beat Portland Gayblazers 120-110.

That was only his second goal in over 300 games for them. He scored against Cardiff recently as well, it's something of a goal spree for him at the moment.

Haha, awesome. He's definitely a man for the big occasions, he scored Norway's national team's 1000th goal some years ago. It was a beautiful goal; it went in off his crotch.

that makes him the all time scoring leader, right?

for the last 3 or 4 days, 24 hours a day, ESPN Classic has been replaying full games from legendary playoff series... so far i've watched the '83 semifinals of George Gervin and Artis Gilmore's Spurs versus Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul Jabar's Lakers, i've watched the '94 2nd-round Denver v. Seattle game where Dikembe Mutumbo set the record for blocked shots in a 5-game playoff series (32 or 33 i think it was, including 8 in each of the final games, an astonishing number), and i've watched LARRY FUCKING BIRD play MICHAEL FUCKING JORDAN, never mind who the fuck else was on the court... and now they're playing back to back early-90s Chicago Bulls games, each so far having featured one of Jordan's "legendary" clutch shots (the switch hands layup in the air, the left-in-the-dust past Ehlo with 3 seconds left, etc.)...

...basketball owns all other sports + all of you.

personally, the idea of that a team must score, they are down by 1 with 3 seconds left and they absolutely HAVE TO SCORE in the next 3 seconds or else they LOSE, no second chances, no stoppage faggotry, we have THREE SECONDS to put the ball in the hoop or else our entire season is over and we fucking lose... that's much more exiting than waiting around for an hour to see if the team might actually score this time or if the obscenely long game clock is just going to run out... give me a situation in the entire history of soccer that's as exiting as Steve Kerr hitting four 3-pointers in about 2 minutes in the western conference finals to bring San Antonio back from a 12 point Dallas lead and take us to the Finals...

(we won the championship that year, BTW, and it was the greatest thing ever, besides when we won in '99...)

(ummm... teh basket pwns...)

also, once, i saw 6'8'' Tracy Mcgrady jump over 7'6'' Dallas center Shawn Bradley (as in over his head, balls first) and dunk it... he ended up sitting on his shoulders from behind. that was the craziest thing i have ever seen in my life. not just in sports. anywhere.

it's not that mcgrady can jump that high that's impressive, it's that he did. in real life, it actually happened, i watched a guy clear another guy who was 7 1/2 feet tall like he was a hurdle.

comparable plays in soccer?

eh?
