and besides its not trying to get a girl, im just trying to introduce her to new music she might like (she likes nick cave, wainwrights, regina spektor, arcade fire and shit like that). if i was trying to charm her i wouldnt have put that xiu xiu song on there, try looking up the lyrics sometime.

those songs i mentioned basically have the same effect on me as i am intending them to have on X girl, which is how i know to expect such a reaction. if i didn't actually love will oldham, i wouldn't have any clue as to the true emotional power of his stuff.
