I'm not going to be a lawyer, I'm going so I can join the FBI when I'm done. Anyways, since when is being in the majority, mean that no one else does XXXX. I never said that only XXX did XXX. Clearly you don't understand the concept of %'s.

Clearly you weren't talking about percentages, as highlighted in the post that I quoted of yours TWICE that you so blatantly ignored twice, you ignoramus.

Yea, because you have first hand knowledge right? Paying more money doesnt = getting a better education. If you go to lets say UF for economics, your sure as hell to get the same education if you went to a CC instead.

Last I checked a B.S. is a B.S. no matter where you get it. There are certain circumstances in which one matters more than the other, IE. Ivy league (but, that brings me to my first point about SPECIALIZING IN A FIELD).

If you pay more money for college, the college can higher better teachers. Look at the stats it's a clear fact. :Smug:

O'Rly now. Thats why there are teachers all over major universities preaching their idealogy over teaching? Right? I mean damn if thats "better" to you then woooooooooo.

Please direct me to the stats that say getting a degree at XXX university is superior than XXX CC.

Im talking generalities here.

For example

History Major from... University of Georgia

Compared to say

Tidewater Community College

I'm pretty sure the % aren't at an astronomical difference, also to the fact your paying 10x more to go to one school over the other.

God you really can't read, I was making fun of you. Anyway It's futile to point out to you how obvious it is that UNI. are better than CC.

So a person from Univ of Texas is going to get paid more then someone from a CC? When your getting hired they don't care what school you came from unless its a school specializing in that field.

Case in point being my mother, she has a CC degree in Nursing (RN), and her degree is just as good as anyone else's no matter where they got it, and she gets paid the same amount. Your logic in paying more = better is so bad. There is nothing that warrants you paying out 10-20x more. Your basically paying for the athletic department, the theatre department, etc.

A person with a degree from St. Louis U. will get the job over someone from Southwestern Illinois CC even if th SWICC person had a few points higher gpa.

Hmmm, really now? Then what is the interview process for? There's no need for interviews given this statement, all you need to look at is their degree and where they got it from.

There are so many more factors in getting hired, then where you got your degree from. Where did you Intern at? Whats your aspirations/ambitions/drive? How well you communicate? etc. etc.

Looking at where you got your degree from is the least thing on their minds I can assure you. (Now something like Lawyer etc. I agree with you, of course someone from Harvard is going to get into that elusive law firm over someone from University of Maryland etc., but in generalities thats the last thing they look at.)

I know several people who are managers, and DM is basically right on the mark here
