Which would be the one that I mentioned.

There's unfortunately, not a very comprehensive collection yet, but I like the Penguin ones. There's three that I'm aware of, the one that I mentioned, The Thing On The Doorstep and Other Weird Stories, and The Dreams In The Witch House and Other Weird Stories.

You should be able to find it there, Penguin is a major publisher. These versions are also superbly footnoted, which is incredibly helpful, and insightful introductions.

Some breath-taking views there.

It's incredible. The country is basically a huge volcano that rose from the sea however many thousands of years ago, and so the landscape as far as your eyes can see from any direction is just rolling hills upon hills upon mountains. I'll never forget it.

There's a paperback collection series published by Del Ray consisting of three books called:

The Best of H. P. Lovecraft: Bloodcurdling Tales of Horror and the Macabre
Dreams of Terror and Death: The Dream Cycle of H. P. Lovecraft
The Road to Madness

Out of those Bloodcurdling Tales of Horror and the Macabre has the best selection of stories in my opinion. They have nice cover art as well. The Penguin editions you mentioned might very well be better though. I'm not familiar with them.

I still don't understand why there isn't a super fancy hardcover collection that has all of his stories (maybe with some illustrations or something). I'd die for that. I looked around a few years ago and those books I mentioned above were the best I could find at the time. :\

At the Gorcery store I worked at during the summer we had a mentally ill kid who could recite every single Beatle song ever made in correct track order from every cd (even the box sets and shit).

he is an idiot savant, much like me..only I am extremely well versed in metal.
