Old school death metal

excessive?
so even more than halford on rollerskates? thats fucking excessive

You're an idiot. Either stop posting or at least think a little before you do so.

Edit: The Awakening is indeed great, I have only listened to it a couple of times so far but it has already caught and sustained my interest.

Also, I am just listening to Cemetary's An Evil Shade of Grey and it too sounds quite good so far. However, I have noticed a weird picking sound on the title track that sounds quite annoying but it only appears to be a problem with certain parts of the song.

They are:

Sempiternal Deathreign - The Spooky Gloom, and
Phlebotomized - Immense, Intense, Suspense

The former is a pretty good, creepy, obscure death/doom-y album.

The latter is a brilliant symphonic/epic death metal album.

i second that
schuldiner just shreds on this album
and his version of painkiller top's priest's in my opinion
...i never thought he could hit halford's high notes
YEHAAAAAA!!!!
Sound of perseverance by Death.

It will blow you away, if you like old school death metal. These guys were like the first death metal band.

I know I've seen that Phelbotomized cover before, but couldn't recall what was it.

I'm planning to raid the local store in a couple of days for the reissues of KI, the first two Necromantia full-lengths and Eucharist's debut since they've finally appeared in stock(yay!) I'm tired of having them only on CD-R.
