Old school death metal

Yeah, I was thinking about that - I could just not be an asshole and not get the original simply because the cover looks better haha. Plus with the reissue there is the bonus of the Unholy Domain demo tacked on.

I'd love to get the reissue myself. I'll have to ask the local metal retailer if they're willing to import it. The band's ideology is kind of fucked up, I think(or maybe I'm confusing it with their sister band Adramelech). In case it's true, getting a copy of the album here may be problematic.

I've heard that Adramelech lean towards NS. I'm not sure about Demigod though.

edit: Ha, silly me.Slumber has been reviewed on Metal-Observer Demoigod can't be NS.

I have those last two, and I'm desperately seeking the Internal Decay and Sentenced. I've seen the original of Shadows Of the Past go for over $100 in the past, so I'm thinking it'll take a miracle or a lot of cash to secure it.

The album I want the most at the moment is the Deathlike Silence print of The Awakening by Merciless.

What does the Unbounded Terror sound like ?

The person has this cheaper than 50.

It depends. Incantation's early albums are better than Immolation's early albums IMO (though not by much, as early Immolation is great, too). However, latter day Immolation is better than latter day Incantation. Of course, this is just my opinion. Since we are focusing on old school death here, the focus is on the early albums, so I'd agree.

I think we can all agree that they are both EXCEPTIONAL bands, however. :kickass:

I'm looking for that Merciless cd too. Just saw it go for 90$ on ebay recently. I think I have more chance getting it in a used bin somewhere when somebody doesn't know what he has and sell it for cheap in a cd store...

Somebody else finally mentioned Insanity? They fucking utterly rule. Immensely. Vicious, savage, ORIGINAL Death FUCKING Metal. Definitely one of the top USDM acts.

Are you talking about Insanity with the 'from the grave' comp that has demo's from around 84,85 forward. Some of the most extreme death metal for the time and they fail to get mention when it comes to one of the most early death metal acts.

Yes indeed, that's the one. Probably the most underrated USDM act along with Hellwitch.

Regarding Convulse-world without god.

"Re-Released by Eternal Darkness Productions in a limited print also containing
the "Resuscitation of Evilness" demotape, a rehearsal from 1990 feat. the
tracks "Godless Truth" and "Powerstruggle of Belief" as well as a live cover of
Venom's "Countess Bathory" taken from the "Live in Pain" bootleg."

I can't find an eternal darkness productions.

Shit, I'd pick that up.
