once I finally get the forum up, everyone will be able to download more maps, someone already sent me Sonar maps with 9 outputs...

The only processing in Kontakt is some hi pass filtering on some of the cymbals, other then that its just levels and panning.

Are the 6 extra modelled kits the ONLY thing separating the Platinum Pack from the LE version? When it says there are 18 drumkits in the LE version, does that mean 18 different sets of toms, 18 different sets of cymbals, etc. or just snares and kicks...? Just curious as to whether I'm missing out on something huge if I got the LE version, becaue the extra modelled kits aren't that big of a deal to me really and $200 is a lot easier on the wallet than $330...

The LE is about half of the Platinum. It has less signature kits AND less kits in general. But keep in mind, IT STILL HAS 18 KITS!!! Thats a lot! And it has the Led Zep Kits.

Thanks for the info man! I think I'll purchase the LE version and upgrade to the Platinum version down the road if I get the itch for more samples. Your stuff seems like the best thing going out there for us metalheads for sure...

Anyone using Kontakt to load the samples? Everytime I playback a MIDI file in Nuendo through a Kontakt drumkit preset, all instrument volume sliders suddenly jumps to -5.2dB.
I mean, when I load the kit it looks like this and then, when I press play it looks like this. This is driving me nuts. I am not using any kind of automation on Nuendo.

i had the same problem too.....i think there is something embedded into the midi file you are using.......that defaults everything

Yeah, you are right. I used Guitar Pro to compose the MIDI, and by default it writes some automation on the volume channel (according to the volume slider on the program). Problem fixed, thanks!
BTW, if anyone is having this problem, all you need to do is right-click on the MIDI track on Nuendo and select "Functions > Delete Controllers".

Aye, guitar pro causes some awesome midi problems! My favourite was when it was setting my synth patches to the default as soon as i playedback. Bugged me for AGES and i had no clue. Thanks for the controller tip mate, i shall remember that.

if we're slow at getting back on emails we apologize, its INSANE lately. Hired some new guys though so it should be flowing better now. We'll have a new midi specialist too so all midi questions can be answered. BTW, the LE order page now has the correct sig kits that come with it. Keep in mind that even though the Pantera and Metallica kits are only in the Platinum, there are still some seriously awesome metal samples in LE, and of course there is the Deftones stuff which people are loving.

well, i ordered the 200$ version just for the Metallica, Pantera, Motley Crue, Dream Theater samples...so this means that now ill just be getting this punk sounding version, that i have been waiting for over a month? If so, something needs to be fixed with my order, that isnt right

Yeah I agree that's fucked up. Anyone who ordered the LE set when it listed the Pantera, Metallica, etc. samples is getting totally raped in the ass if those kits aren't in the sample set they get....

Pantera and Metallica kits don´t include that LE version.I ordered that LE package just for those kits couple days ago...This must be a joke.
I think we should get those kits ,because when we have ordered those kits (Pantera and Metallica kits)they was included that LE version.
If they don´t include in my LE version,I wan´t cancel my order.
