A lot more people are voting against Awaken the Guardian and Symbolic than Turn Loose the Swans.

And I would guess the reason why is that they don't think those albums are worthy of immediate entry.
 
If this is "supposed to" go to 1000 though... I dont get the point in voting down albums that are close... especially if you annoy the people voting for those albums enough that they start to vote down the album you're voting for out of spite.

I get not liking the MDB album... but the people voting down Dismember... that's bizarre to me. LAEFS is probably the best swedish death metal album there is.
 
The real problem here is the people voting up Ashes. There's no way that album should be even on the voting list yet. But yeah I'm not going to bother with voting down Turn Loose anymore even though I don't care for it.

My last ten negative points have went to that damn album. Everyone else is too busy trying to get their album to leapfrog dismember/mdb to get rid of it though.
 
I'm sorry Krow; I'm sorry that I'm conflicted between voting down a really unworthy album that isn't really a threat on the list yet and voting down an album that is about to make the first death/doom spot when in reality it should be in the eighth or ninth death/doom spot. I realize it's a problem for sure though, but even then, there's also some people still voting up that stupid third rate Immortal album.
