There's plenty more on his website. Be warned, though - you'll get bombarded by ad popups, and that annoying banner with the "congratulations, you've won an ipod!" audio. Just be sure to turn your sound off ahead of time. :erk:

Yes, yes I'm trying I'm trying. I'm applying to Yale in January and I need 12 works withing the year of application so I'm scrambling to find time to paint after coming home from work at night but god it's so so hard. I'm so tired after working all day you know? My next series will be on roadkill you should get in on it.

I should be painting right now but god damn I'm tired, my friend came down to see me this weekend. =]

roadkill?! FANTASTIC! hahaha. that would be perfect for you, since you like drippy fleshy stuff hehehe

good luck on getting into yale

That's pretty cool for graphic design. :p

You seem very prejudicial towards graphic design. It's not done with the click of a button and requires just as much traditional design knowledge as "real" paintings. In addition you need to master the software. Observe and reconsider (digital painting in this case) http://www.furiae.com/
She is a master!

I draw a mean satan.

Funny story...

When I was around 5-7 and my younger brother was around 3-4 I sneaked into his room while he was sleeping and with a jumbo red crayon drew a huge picture of Satan on the wall in his closet. When he opened the door later that day it scared him shitless.

I was a very metal child.

Definitely a good artist. I had a few of those on my comp already, but I didn't know who did them. Perhaps a few too many elves and fairies for my taste, but the richness of the scenes, and the stunning level of detail in the characters and backgrounds, make it worthwhile. Thanks for the link!

These kickass

They all kick ass.

There are two types of students in this world:

1) Art students
2) Real students

Bring on the flame wars!

Regardless, good luck on applying to Yale.

Fuck you and yet thank you.
I graduated Summa cum laude and was the one painting major given a cash award of $500 at graduation. I was a VERY GOOD, VERY REAL STUDENT. And if you saw my work and realized how much time and effort and thought I put into what I'd do you would kindly bite your tongue.

I don't really like any of those, but yes I understand graphic design isn't as simple as some percieve it to be... However, it rarely can reach me on the emotional level as a painting painted with human hands that is TANGIBLE and able to be viewed, touched, and share it's presense in the same room as. I feel like with graphic art you can never really experience the same you can with a painting... But I'm prejudiced. :p

It was a joke, but whatever.

I have a few friends in the fine arts program at one of the top art programs in the nation here in town. I still give them shit, but I realize how much work goes into things.

Just funny to me that most art students are complete idiots.

No. Most people are fucking idiots.

Artists tend to be of a higher level of intelligence and thought-process and "awareness" than the average Joe. Not all obviously. But most. Hence what makes them "forward thinkers". Hence them being ARTISTS.
Students however... not all of them are even any good. Plenty are crap. A lot of weeding out goes on in art school.

edit: To above ^.

Also, I don't know how to take your comment about students. Making a bold statement if you're saying that artists are smarter than the majority of students, because I can pull out several 'students' from history and make a case against that.

Lastly, that joke isn't mine either. A friend of mine from RIT made up that joke after seeing the 'high caliber' of art students at RIT (he was Computer Engineering/Math/Economics)

Maybe if I went to more art galleries, or did more painting myself, I might feel the same way. As it is, though, I have about 99.9% of my visual art experiences on the computer. So, as long as the digital art is realistic enough, I get just as much out of it as I do with hand-painted art -- and usually more.

Let's not forget about all those math, physics, and engineering students.
