. I don't really hate any music, sure some is unpleasant to me but I'm just too lazy to hate any music I find irritating. I may hate a band, or I may hate if a band gets praise when they don't deserve it, but music itself I'm too lazy to hate.

I've heard some catchy stuff from clutch but overall it just sounds like cookie-cutter rock.

My roommate listens to them some, and most of what I have overheard just made me go "meh".

They're a really unique southern rock/metal band with great lyrics, plenty of good riffs, and a lot of personality. They've had a couple so-so albums, but The Elephant Riders and Robot Hive / Exodus are both fantastic. Given your comments on AC/DC though, you seem to have a severe aversion to blues-based rock, so I can only guess that's a key factor in your view of Clutch.
