They're clearly marketing a sound inspired by the classics of Swedeath and don't really do anything (other than the frequent chugga chugga parts) that you can't hear on hundreds of albums from the 1990's that were coincidentally also better. They also stole Gorement's logo design, but would probably deny it if questioned.

Oh, and V5 might agree with you that Obituary is bad, but he also hates Bloodbath.

I haven't listened to a full Bloodbath album in ages, but they basically take the most superficial elements of Entombed and never go past that from what I remember. My hate for them doesn't stem so much from that fact that they're bland bullshit, it's the people that laud them as some sort of warriors of modern death metal played the old school way. Fuck that shit.

dragonforce is the only band I know that ripps off THEIR OWN material/riffs. I don't hate them tho.

The only band I do not enjoy is Metallica and mostly because the lead vocalist sounds really out of place and down right annoying.

Lyrics on the Breeding Death E.P were written by Mikael Åkerfeldt and Jonas Renske with lots of laughs, the band has admitted to stealing Gorements logo and was only originally suppose to release a demo tape. I guess stop taking shit seriously that's not intended on being taken serious and get a sense of humour.
