The Band Hate List

Post videos or something of what you think are their best songs. I only know them by name, though I do expect them to be terrible.

They're a really unique southern rock/metal band with great lyrics, plenty of good riffs, and a lot of personality. They've had a couple so-so albums, but The Elephant Riders and Robot Hive / Exodus are both fantastic. Given your comments on AC/DC though, you seem to have a severe aversion to blues-based rock, so I can only guess that's a key factor in your view of Clutch.

My problem with AC/DC isn't the music as much as it is the lyrics/vocals and band personality.I would 1000x rather hear Clutch than AC/DC.

The first song just reminds me of everything that was bad about the hard rock of the 1990's with a slight bluesy feel to the music. The vocals aren't very good and are fairly monotonous. The best part was the jam near the end where the vocals were absent, but it didn't really seem to go anywhere or build up to anything. Boring. I'd really rather not listen to the others at all.

Well if you're going to judge a band with a diverse discography on a single song that you've heard only once, then I guess I can't help you. That's an incredibly shallow way to form an opinion though. Also, it's pretty clear you just don't like the style being played on that song.

If by "owns your moms face" you mean "makes generic modern Swedeath with tons of chugga chugga and stupid lyrics," then yes.

Personally, I hate dragonforce as well. They piss me off. They are a huge slap in the face to power and speed metal bands everywhere because of their "not being able to play their own music". And the major power metal bands can play their stuff faster. Another band I dislike (but everyone likes) is probably As I Lay Dying. Seriously, I listened to TWO full albums by them. I am not impressed. Their vocals are common, you can find vocals like that easily... And their riffs arent nearly as wonderfull as people say. Jesus, their lyrics are the only good thing about them. Thats the only reason I can stand them.
