Made pancakes today. Had them with some orange marmalade. That's my today' instastory hashtag foodporn or something.

I think crepes are traditionally made with slightly different ingredients. Sour cream and strawberry crepes are the bomb.

Speaking of fruit... I think I'm dangerously close to ODing on blueberries. Had a sale at the food store and I got so many and I've eaten so many of them goodbye blue world you were never blue eniugh

Crepes are generally thinner in this part of the world but they are basically the same.

I'm doing the OD things on strawberries. I'm picking about 120 large strawberries a day at the moment so what I don't eat or give away is going in the deep freeze

Is that not what you Amrucans call pancakes? It's like crepes.

American pancakes have baking powder in them and one is thicker than your whole stack there. They’re usually big and heavy here, I think with the intent of having a large heavy meal to get you through a morning of work.

Pancakes are the opposite of thicc, what are you talking about?

A stack of buckwheat pancakes is probably the heaviest breakfast I can think of. Everyone in WV loves the Buckwheat festival but you couldnt pay me to eat that shit.

Ok so this probably got a little lost in translation, thanks for clearing it out, guys.

What I made there is "palačinka" which is pretty much identical to french crepes, vocabulary also calls that pancakes in english, but what you mean by pankakes is called "lívance" in here and looks like this. The main difference in preparation is that the dough is leavened.

FARK ME. Next time you are hungry send me $240 and I'll send you a few empty plates with charcoal and other weird shit that can't be identified without a forensic scientist stuck to them.
