After awile I realized Venom have musical substance. same with bathory.

both these bands just did not click with me for awile.

How did Bathory not click with you? The vocals are similar to Satyricon but I've heard just a little from them so I need to listen to more of them.

Do you honestly think making an average of ten posts a day really takes that much out of my day that I couldn't possibly have a life? Maybe you just have horrid reading, typing, and comprehension skills so it takes you a significant amount of time to both navigate through a few webpages and then type a few words on a keyboard, but it doesn't for me.

The vocals are, I can't comment on the music, haven't heard enough Bathory. But I've heard Satyr referred to as a cross between Quorthon and Abbath vocal-wise before.

I prefer Satyr's vocals to Quorthon's though Quorthon has a very good black metal rasp.
