Hi guys!!!
just joined here in August! so i'm new...
Real name is Jayson, i live in a shitty place country called Philippines where metal scene sucks, no metal albums to be found except on some Dream Theater, Iron Maiden and Metallica (and except for the pirated cds also).
I'm 21 yrs old now, working in an accounting firm in the Philippines, but i'm not an accountant, i'm an IT personnel, more into database programming though because i graduated with a degree in MIS.
Well, i play in a band called Roses of Shadow, a gothic-death style metal band. My bandmates are my friends since high school, and we're banging our heads for years now. Well, i have a 3 year long girlfriend and we're still in it.
My favorite metal genre is Gothic, Death, Black and Doom (and some Avantgarde). Sell outs make me sick...and those posers who loves linkin park and says that they are metal and shit like that. Been listening to metal since 13.
What else...hope i will have many metal friends here, because i have only few metal friends here in the Philippines.

Real name is Faith but anyone who meets me is much safer calling me Fay and it's not worth taking the piss out of my name 'cause I've heard 'em all.
I love music everything from rap to early ninties dance to metal but fave is glam/hair metal/sleaze/classic rock Fave bands no1 is poison and I don't think this will ever change also Tuff, Lita Ford, Skid Row,Def Leppard,Bon Jovi,Warrant,Winger,Panic Cell,Fourwaykill,Pantera,Garbage etc (many many more) I also enjoy reading, writing poetry (although not very well) cross stitching, Sleeping, Jigsaws, Live bands, Horses are one of my big passions and on day I asspire to be a proffesional groom/stable hand people think I am strange because I don't really want to learn to ride but to me caring for the horses is more important than riding. Love posting on message boards as I am not a very confident person and on the message boards I feel equal to everybody else and as if my point of view is equally valued. Anyway thanks to everyone who bothered to read the nonsensical ramblings of a complete nutter. You rock

Names Rob, 30 yrs old. Live in South Carolina, USA. Married with 2 girls (2 yrs & 3 months). Fav band is still Opeth (has been for years now). I love all kinds of music. My 5 all time fav bands are: Opeth, Old Metallica, Steely Dan, Stevie Ray Vaughn & Megadeth. I like all kinds of music (except new country).
I recently found out about DC++ and have been like a kid in a candy store. That along with my new 20gb iRiver MP3 player keeps me up on my music. I can't play metal in the house since my wife hates it, and it might scare the kids

I was born in 1958 in Eindhoven The Netherlands. And I heard the intro of "Satisfaction" by the Rolling Stones in 1965 and liked the sound very much. In 1969 my favorite song was "A Whole Lotta Love" from Led Zeppelin. The same year I bought my first album: "Shocking Blue at home" from the Dutch band Shocking Blue [She's got, yea baby, she's got it].
My next album was Led Zeppelin II and this album turned me over to the dark side
Almost all rock music sounds great to me but Metal is the only genre that really gets my heart pumping. Favorite bands are Nevermore, Symphony X, Zero Hour, Children of Bodom and Arch Enemy. Within the metal genre I like prog-metal, death-metal, and tech-metal. O I also like fusion a lot.
I spend most of my days teaching history to high school kids and try to convert them to the metal faith. My average is 3 students a year.
Reading about history, philosophy and economics is a big hobby of mine.
The Austrian economist Ludwig von Mises is one of my big heroes!
I hate politics! I would be very happy if all politicians would disappear from the face of the earth never to return again! I would be willing to pray for that except that I am an atheist
