Odd future is pretty sick. My cousin has been into them for a while.
Tri-Function Million is great if your looking for hip-hop thats kinda different. Sucks they don't have any Youtube songs though.

Im 18 and I love Van Halen so far, I got their debut album a couple weeks ago. I dont really venture off into stuff that isnt metal, but somehow Van Halen works for me. Even though alot of metal was inspired by Van Halen, (like Trey Azagthoth) but I still wouldnt consider it metal.

I actually can't disagree with this, but I've enjoyed what I've heard even though it is over-rated as hell and everyone and thier mother around me listens to it. I have no clue where to find the "good underground/lesser known" side of it, if there is one.

Sure, I'm guessing you are looking for dubstep that's closer to its roots, but I'll throw in some Figure too because I think he produces some great aggressive dubstep.
