The first new Lush song in 20 years is a total return to form. Love it. Would fit in on Spooky or the early EPs for sure.

That was phenomenal. Reminded me very much of "Monochrome" which is one of my favorite Lush songs. And Miki still sounds heavenly. I needed that song this morning.

ABC, 123 is better than most things he did after Thriller. Better than the majority of Thriller itself, actually.

Baby Be Mine, The Girl is Mine, Human Nature, and The Lady in My Life are worse than ABC, at least. Not saying it's a Billie Jean or Beat It, of course, but it's still a great, classic pop song. Nothing wrong with some Jackson 5.

Just to clarify, I do like the Jackson 5. I was just making a point that it's ridiculous to ignore the rest of an artist's career because 'omg it's not their first 4 so untrue' which happens around here. Not all the time but it happens. People told me 'only Dio's rainbow and sabbath stuff were good' and such.

Bad, Dangerous, and Invincible are all great albums post Thriller by MJ btw.
