well actually i think i'm in the minority on that opinion but either way, WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH IT? freedom of expression v. being a fucking moron are two entirely different things.

irregardless is not a word. it's like saying valentiMe's day for goat's suck, it grates on the nerves!!!

*sniff*

Do NOT, I repeat, DO NOT jack this thread topic. It's been a pic page for 86 pages, it will continue to be. :D

you're forgetting rule #17 of the RC forum:

every thread will get jacked at some point or another.

"rule #1: there ARE! NO! RULES!"
rule #2: no outside food."

oh come on, can't we at least milk more posts out of it? and yes, some people just have a problem with other people using retarded english. I don't care either way :p

There's this new manager at one of the store's whose from England. He says it is ah-luh-min-ium ... Is that the right shit? Wtf? I always say aluminum. Fuck it...thats how it was in science class in high school/college, etc.

How about..."supposebly" grrrrr WTTTFF!!!!!

ugh, supposably is terrible.

and yeah, it's aluminium. that's a weird one for me, something i'll probably never say. sorry russell, jayk, doom, and other limeys. :loco:

a·lu·mi·num Audio pronunciation of "aluminum" ( P ) Pronunciation Key (-lm-nm)
n. Symbol Al

A silvery-white, ductile metallic element, the most abundant in the earth's crust but found only in combination, chiefly in bauxite. Having good conductive and thermal properties, it is used to form many hard, light, corrosion-resistant alloys. Atomic number 13; atomic weight 26.98; melting point 660.2°C; boiling point 2,467°C; specific gravity 2.69; valence 3. See table at element.

It's not entirely incorrect, but element names generally end with -ium so the British pronunciation and spelling are more consistent.

That I'm willing to forgive - aluminium was originally named aluminum when discovered before being changed to fit the conventions of the periodic table. The fact that the 'official' spelling of sulphur is now sulfur because you Americans can't handle a ph, however, I will ignore forever :loco:
