The (Un)official Royal Carnage forum picture page

Speaking of dead bodies. A discharged patient leaped 8 stories to his death from one of our parking structures several days back. Surprising at it may sound, this is a normal occurrence, with jumpers/potential jumpers taking to the ledges on average of once every 4 months.

I like these two. Especially the one with the rocks in the water and I like how they are reflecting off the water. But, for some of your pictures I think you should not do that effect where you take shots and have some color and the rest in black in white. You should just make it either black/white or color. Another thing, in some of your shots you take the shots too symmetrical. I suggest to try to weigh it either left or right than taking vertical things dead center.

Oh yeah, where's the Torii (gate), boy!?

Sadly there were no torii at that lake. :(

And the color isolation is an effect I really like. I keep doing it because I'm trying to make a series of pictures like that that I will print out and frame when I get back to the U.S. And yeah, I've been trying to take less symmetrical shots lately. I remember from my art class so many years ago that a subject should be around 1/3 away from the edge of the picture.

I like the ones with the church and the other with the bench.

I can't even eat regular Oreos anymore, thanks to TRADER JOE'S JOJOS!

They are like Oreos but made out of actual food product instead of cartoon ingredients.

DUDE ... a Trader Joe's JUST opened this weekend in my neighbourhood ... only the second one in NYC ...

was there TWICE already since Friday ... goddamn place is cheap even

This fucken rules :kickass:

I fucking love Trader Joes. They have really awesome spring rolls under their "Trader Ming" collection. And there has been many a time when I bring in their peanut satay noodles to work.

Well it was time to head down to Austin again for the weekend-before-Halloween party on 6th Street. We were supposed to have 3 others going but it ended up just being Derick, myself, and our friend Lane. A few people were jealous of Derick...Fun times!

Observe:
