what mainly attracts me is the fact that it's only 15mm thin which means i can more easily take the camera with me (especially since the k100d body is fairly small too) -- one thing that sucks about dslrs is the fact that since they're so relatively big compared to my old cruddy nikon compact, i'm sometimes hesitant to take the camera with me and there's been a lot of "god damn why didn't i bring my camera to take a pic of this" moments recently^Sweet thing for landscape shots, indeed. And 2,8 is cool too.
