God damnit I hate to sully the actual tallented excellent pictures with debauchery, but hey, there needs to be a balance in the force I suppose:

i dunno what an oma is but the person in the picture is my grandmother at her 94th birthday

not all of the photos were so gloomy but i'm a gloomy sort of guy sometimes

your second pic is real nice btw, could have been a 500-piece puzzle

Have you upgraded your equipment, Erik?

I bought really cool Canon camera and 3 lenses. And was full of hopes and inspiration, but camera got broken the next day (scam, I assume). So I gave it back and now I just have lenses, - sweet isn't it?...

nope, these are all my very trusty k100d super and the kit 18-55, fancy equipment is for nerds

that's sweet, i guess that's what happens when you buy CANON though

Yeah, I've heard that Canon and Nikon are for people who don't want to 'think'. But I really liked this one and it's worth being bothered :p

canon ($5000+ range) is unparalleled equipment for pros who take photos all day and make lots of money off it

canon ($500 range) is for CHUMPS who think canon must be good because everyone else buys canon and like paying a lot of money for plastic lenses without image stabilization

although i'm really just fucking with you, camera brand doesn't matter at all, what matters is the pictures you take -- and it's completely impossible to buy a bad dslr in today's market

but canon still sucks

My set was closer to the first one you've mentioned. Because I want to make it somewhat a profession.
And yup, it's not about the camera - it's about the photographer.
But before I was using a simple digital camera, which is Canon too, and I was pretty happy with the pictures I had - trend, yes, but a legitimate one.

Anyway, as soon as I'll be able - I'll show new stuff :)

that's a good setup but what will you do when you want something wider than 50 though

Step back ;)

I just can't afford everything I need at once. Considering stuff I'd like to shoot - I don't really need anything really wide. BUT - I'd still get 24-70/2,8 or 24-105/2,8.

fair enough

i kinda want a decent macro lens but i'm getting the 40/2.8 limited first

pancake :)

^Sweet thing for landscape shots, indeed. And 2,8 is cool too.

Photos of insects inspired me to take macro lense. Close-ups where you can see spiders' or flies' eyes - so fantastic.
