This isn't an off-topic/general chat forum, and I thought you'd understood that, blimey.
I'm not the one that makes the rules here, but the Opeth camp were VERY clear that the reason they got rid of the old off-topic section was because all the general chatter turned into SPAM, which the band didn't want to have anything to do with.
This place is for music discussion, and things directly relevant to it. Saying 'Opeth.... now let's talk about drinks' or 'I play these games whilst listening to Opeth, how about you?' is no concession to break off into off-topic chatter.
