Finland seems like the easiest choice because it seems to have been within the past ten years that their scene has expanded substantially. They've sure got much of the doom scene by the balls. Then there's Ajattara, Rotten Sound, Sotajumala, Wintersun, Ensiferum, Clandestine Blaze, etc.
