IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY (I'm going on my misfortunate memory, I apologize in advance should I be mistaken)

It's not pronounced like us anglophones would think, "Micheal Ackerfelled", but rather "Mee-kail Awker-feldt" or something along those lines. Why am I answering this? I'm Canadian... hey, Swedish guys? What is it actually?

k, i heard somewhere that it's mikael like "me" "ki" as in kite and "el" as in elbow....is that pretty close?
