Who is going to MDF '11

Depends on how many people. I think it was ~$60 per person last time, but with the extra night it will probably be more. More incentive to get more people.

it'd be nice if we had some reviews of other nearby hotels by MDFers who have stayed in them, but i think most of us aren't comfortable staking the quality of our trip on a hotel we have little knowledge of.

edit: last year my bill for 3 nights at Tremont was $814.13, and I added an extra $15 'party fee' to the total for my group to cover plates, cups and shit, so it came out to $103.64 per dude for 8 dudes. those of us who stayed 4 nights paid ~$130 total

just checked tremont's site. apparently with a AAA membership (which i have) i can book the 4 nights of MDF for $806.65 (though last year they charged me ~45 dollars more than what was listed on the site, for whatever reason). either way, quite a bit cheaper than last year.

I think the Tremont is totally worth it. When you've been headbanging and standing for 5 hours in a row, it's nice not to have to walk really far back to the room.

The Tremont is the best fuckin' hotel ever; a lot of the bands stay there, you can bet on the elevator races, it's right near Superfresh, Portal's favorite grocery store, the staff is super-friendly and cool as hell, and it's tradition to stay there.

If you guys don't stay there in 2012 when I am back to going regularly, I'm not staying with you!

Hey all, i'm thinking about getting a room at the Tremont reserved tonight/tomorrow. Is everyone cool with the junior suite this year? We can get two beds with that, just not a separate bedroom like in past years. $27 cheaper.

Also I assume we're checking in on Thursday & checking out Monday
