You're implying that there's an inherent lacking in raw and/or primitive Black Metal, which is false. However, Emperor still triumphs over the other greats.

No, I'm not. I'm saying they took the raw and primitive sound and added something more to it. There was nothing against raw/primitive black metal implied in that statement.
