Anywhere aeveryone likes man if they are under 25. Metal is the most popular music cus it it has pop appeal and is angry so it appeals to the fragile amotions of angst ridden kids.

Its not art. Metal bands incorporate real music elements so they can market it to older people.

Can't say for sure.

I listen to metal now, though, I wouldn't consider myself angry in the least bit. In fact, I'd say that I'm too mellow (to which some would respond that metal acts as compensation for that).

Either way, I've been listening to less and less of it recently. The way I see it is that if it is good, then it is good... and timeless. Otherwise, it is disposable and it will reveal itself as such in time.

Metal is sometimes not angry true but it is alot of the times. It has aot do with fantasy so angst ridden kids can escape their angered filled real lifes. Metal is the most popular music you can go everyewhere and find fans because everyone young person likes metal because it reflects their inner angr and despair. Metal is a great money maker. If I started a band it would be a metal band so I could get rich.

But they are depressing and melacholy. Tats a characteristic of tennanst as well.


Metal bands display music that is angy andor fantays filled andor depressing.

That sums it up. I should have mentioned despair as a teen grabber too. Bands like Opeth are depressing so they appeal to sad teens.
