dunno about plastic surgery fans over there but for example where i live (and it's a small town, mind you), nearly one woman in five has fake boobs/butt, and they start retouching when they're very young...
now that i get to think of it, it would be interesting knowing men's opinion on this matter. so far, i've found them quite contradictory
 
One woman in five? WOOT? That's sick. At least some years ago in Finland there were more surgeries done to reduce the size of breasts than to enlarge them. Then again, I don't know how much of latter are done in other countries where it's cheaper and therefore don't show in the statistics.

Silicone boobs are good only for a laugh in bad American TV, and since I don't watch that much television and tittie-jokes really aren't my thing, they're good for nothing. Small (or normal, if you mind) breasts are usually much more beautiful, anyway. Excessive size takes the cuteness out of them, and to a man's eye breasts are supposed to look cute. And they usually do.
