Old vocal style back?! Nice, I really like Kalmah a lot, wasn't a huge fan of their best couple of albums though.

For me Windlake Tale sounds a lil more better then Seventh Swamphony. But they make really good music indeed.

I thought so at first too, because Seventh Swamphony sounded chaotic at first, but after a few listens it blows Windlake away. Awesome neoclassical influences and the solos of course...Kalmah never disappoints. I like the new keyboard player too, he's doing a good job.

After For the Revolution which I thought was a bit disappointing, I never payed much attention to 12 Gauge despite the positive reviews since I didn't like the vocals too much. But that song from the video sounds pretty okay, so I'll be sure to check their new album when it's released.

Holy shit I was just reading the comments on the link COB posted to the lyric video. Cannot believe how many people are saying how shit it is. Like 50% of the comments are just thrashing it as worse than the past few albums. Reading comments like "THIS IS A PIECE OF FUCKING SHIT" makes me hate people. It's fair enough if you don't like it but when a band dedicates their lives to making music that people can listen to for free it makes me so angry when they feel the need to be so disrespectful.

It's not so much about the music: it's the metal vocals, the arrogant reputation Alexi earned around the CRY era, and the fact it's trendy to dislike Bodom cos they're actually catchy and not "trüe metal." And so far this album is clearly the most epic COB since FTR. You have to be an idiot to bash the new single comparing to the recent albums.

This time it actually IS lame to dislike Bodom's new doings cos they actually put out material that's juicy and electric like in the past days... they're all idiots.

Most of people have realized this is better and comments are good. Maybe if someone's expecting them to make SNBN kind of songs they get disappointed, but when you're realistic, this is all you can expect.

if he talked about the song RRF or Hellhound on my trails, i will understand and agree with him. But transference is a clear return to the past album, how the fuck couldnt he feel that!
that scary intro, that keyboard dominance, guitar riffing style (Kissing the shadows like), vocals (children of decadence like), interlude (bodom after midnight), the amazing solos.
if we talk about wast of skins it has melody a la hate me !

Well for me it's just as bad, seems like it's a matter of taste. Broadly speaking all lyric videos are one pic and a bunch of generic visual effects on the text so you've got to be somewhat ingenious to impress with that. I for one like this one, got the atmosphere at least
